From the moment the networks called the election for president-elect Joe Biden, spontaneous celebrations have been breaking out all over the country, as Americans danced in the streets, banged pots, sang, and otherwise rejoiced at the news. It turns out our European allies are also pretty psyched to be (almost) rid of Donald Trump, and they’ve been living it up all over the continent.
